Baltimore Stamp & Coin Show

This weekend’s Baltimore Stamp & Coin Show is a great chance to network with other collectors, as well as buy, sell, and trade your pieces! Free parking and admission are available, and the event is handicap accessible. The show will be held in the Mosner-Miller Building in Timonium at the Fairgrounds and public entry is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Want to get a jump on the crowds? Take advantage of early bird access from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM for a $15 fee. Door prizes will be given away, including $25 gift certificates, coins, currency, stamps, postcards, and more.
Maryland Cider Festival

The Maryland Apple Blossom Cider & Mead Festival is coming back this year, featuring hard ciders and mead makers from across the Old Line State. At the festival, attendees can explore local artisans and craft vendors, as well as a multitude of food trucks (The Pita King, Blended Desserts, Flair Cuisine, Husky Hut Coffee, and Beloved Bakeshop) and live music performances by Eamon Curley of Billy & The Curley Brothers and Kayleigh Mathews. The festival is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Cider Sampler tickets are on sale for $35. Sample a diverse lineup of ciders and meads, ranging from traditional to modern, dry to sweet, still to sparkling, and much more! Participating craft producers at this year’s festival include Brothers Ridge Ciders, Silver Wheel Cellars, Willow Oaks Craft Cider and Wine, Clear Skies Meadery, and many more.
Spring Fling & Egg Roll

You won’t want to miss the action-packed Spring Fling & Egg Roll this weekend at Rose Hill Manor Park in Frederick. Join the Frederick County Farm Museum to meet the Easter Bunny, play family-friendly games, visit with animals, and even jump on the hayride! Don’t forget to bring a basket to partake in the traditional egg roll. Families can even pick up gifts for their Easter Baskets from local craft vendors and food will be available at the park for purchase from the Farm Museum Association concession stand and various food truck vendors. Admission is priced at $5 for guests ages 2 and over. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday.
First Landing Wine & Arts Festival

The First Landing Wine & Arts Festival will be held at the St. Clement’s Island Museum this Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Attendees are invited to spend the afternoon sipping wine and other exciting St. Mary’s County craft beverages from wineries, breweries, distilleries, and more on the First Landing Wine Trail. There will be local artisans and craft vendors, as well as kid-friendly activities and live music. Shop along the museum grounds while you admire the scenic shores of the Potomac River and enjoy tunes from Sax Appeal from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Joe Parsons from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Museum admission and water taxi rides will be available for a small fee and the festival will take place rain or shine!
42nd Annual Easter Egg Festival

This Saturday from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, mark your calendar for the 42nd Annual Easter Egg Festival! A favorite amongst many area families, this event is held at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds and includes egg hunts, visits with the Easter Bunny and Ms. Cottontail, and a variety of exciting craft vendors, activities, entertainment options, and more. Food trucks will be onsite for a bite to eat and the egg hunts will be divided by age, ensuring everyone has a fair shot to stash goodies into their basket! There will be two starred eggs per hunt — each containing special prizes! One ticket is required per egg hunt.

Dive into this exciting Easter egg hunt around Lake Elkhorn! Participants will meet at the store by 10:00 AM before heading out on this walk/run. During your scenic stroll, keep an eye out for hidden eggs. Once you’ve collected your goodies, bring them back to the store for a post-hunt celebration. Everyone is welcome and general admission is free. All runs and walks are open to all paces and levels. If you love a good brew, don’t skip the DC Beer Fest this Saturday at Nats Park. There will be two sessions, with the first from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and the second from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The annual fest brings together dozens of craft breweries that feature a lineup of spring seasonal beers, as well as food trucks, dueling pianos, bands, and more throughout the park. Kite Flying Festival

Are you ready to soar into Spring? If you answered yes, then the 3rd annual Kite Flying Festival will be returning to the Historic Kernstown Battlefield this Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The first 30 families can grab a free kite, courtesy of Incredible Flying Objects. Additional kites will be available for purchase — so no worries if you don’t arrive until later. There will be a Drone Demo at 1:00 PM and egg hunts at 1:30 PM and 1:45 PM for ages 2 to 6 and 7 to 11, respectively. Did you think the fun ended there? Think again! There will be face painting, lawn games, and delicious treats from local vendors. Admission is free!
