Bring along a few friends and enjoy a night of music, with a pre-show food service including a variety of small plates for those with food tickets ($23.99). Light bites will be served from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $10 per vehicle. This is a 16 and up event, with guests under the age of 18 requiring an accompanying adult.

The market features products from local makers, farmers, producers, and artisans year-round on Sundays and on Saturdays beginning early April through late December. Whether you’re shopping for homemade fruit jams, pork chops, bacon, eggs, freshly baked pies, or coffee and croissants, you can find a touch of everything at this local community market. Market hours run from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday and 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday. Dogs are not allowed at the farmers’ market.

RenFest is returning this weekend for an enchanting gathering of Renaissance faire lovers from across the region. Single-day tickets are priced at $20, and kids ages 12 and under receive a discounted rate of $15. Kids ages 5 and under get in free. Don’t want to miss out on anything? Snag a two-day pass for $30! Caribbean Wine & Music Festival

Get ready for the Caribbean Wine & Music Festival this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Linganore Winecellars. This is the longest-running reggae festival on the East Coast, so you’re in for a grand time filled with the unforgettable spirit of the culture. From live performances, authentic island cuisine, local artisan vendors, and unlimited wine sampling — what more could you ask for? This year’s music lineup features DJ Sprang, Image Band, Eclipse International, and Pan Masters Steel Orchestra.
Carroll Creek Unplugged

Carroll Creek Unplugged is an educational and musical performance event, serving as the annual fundraising event for Global Z. Anyone who loves to sing or play a stringed acoustic instrument is invited to register. Catch the Milk Mountain Band as they lead participants through the performance of 12 popular songs in the Carroll Creek Park Amphitheater at 7:00 PM on Sunday. Registrants will be provided with chord charts and lyrics in advance, with the charts and words also projected on a large screen at the event. Registrants will also be added to a drawing for a month of free music lessons provided by the Sloan School of Music, which is valued at $225! Participating in Carroll Creek Unplugged is free, though donations are always greatly appreciated. Friends of the performers and members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Saturday’s promotion is the NATS20 Mystery Moments Bobblehead, with the first 20,000 fans in attendance receiving one of three bobbleheads. On Sunday’s game, celebrate the Patriotic Series presented by U.S. Steel for Memorial Day. If you want to upgrade to a special ticket purchase, you can also receive a limited-edition Korean Heritage Day jacket. This weekend’s schedule begins at 6:45 PM on Friday, continues at 4:05 PM on Saturday, and finishes at 1:35 PM on Sunday.
2025 National Memorial Day Choral Festival

The 2025 National Memorial Day Choral Festival is going to be one for the books, so reserve your free tickets ASAP! Join Music Celebrations International as they partner with the Capital Wind Symphony and the American Veterans Center to present the 15th annual festival. There is a 6-ticket limit, and the show is set to run for approximately 145 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. Sunday’s show is scheduled for 3:00 PM. The show will be led by artistic director and conductor, Dr. Craig Jessop, and conductor, Dr. William L. Lake, Jr. The festival is organized each year to honor the nation’s veterans and fallen heroes, with the concert representing choirs from across the nation and over 200 singers! Attendees can expect traditional patriotic favorites such as America the Beautiful, Hymn to the Fallen, God Bless America, and much more.
National Memorial Day Concert

This Sunday, don’t miss out on the National Memorial Day Concert at 8:00 PM. The event will be live-streamed from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. 2025 performers include Joe Mantegna, Gary Sinise, Robert Patrick, Yolanda Adams, Gretchen Mol, and more. No tickets are necessary, as this concert is free and open to the public. General admission gates will open at approximately 5:00 PM, with various checkpoints for bags and parcels. To travel to the concert, the Metro will be the best mode of transport due to the traffic volume and street closures. The nearest stations are Federal Center SW and Union Station. Dress rehearsal on Saturday will also be open to the public.

Reston Concerts on the Town are back this summer! Check out the 32nd season of this family-favorite event. What’s better than free live music after all? Enjoy the relaxed vibe in the pavilion while you sip and stroll with alcoholic beverages from participating restaurants beginning at 6:00 PM. This Saturday’s performer is Lez Zeppelin, with a full musical lineup through August 23rd found here. End times will vary depending on each performer, but will wrap up by no later than 10:00 PM. Participating eateries at this year’s Concerts on the Town include CitySwing, Ted’s Bulletin, Sixty Vines, Fogo de Chao, and many more. Music kicks off at 7:30 PM! Free garage parking will be available on site. Guests are invited to bring chairs, snacks, kids, and dogs.

The annual Viva! Vienna! is a charity event that will be held this Memorial Day weekend. For over 40 years, this event has been hosted by the Rotary Club of Vienna in concert with the Town of Vienna, and each year, the proceeds go towards supporting 70+ local organizations. Guests can expect amusement rides, food, crafts, and entertainment for all ages. Attendees can shop vendors that include artisans, retail professionals, political candidates, nonprofits, and much more. There will be two entertainment stages, with each one presenting exciting local talent such as the Vienna Singing Princesses, Superfly Disco, the Rocknoceros, and many more. This year’s entertainment will also include performances from The Vienna Community Band, the Legacy Dance School, and Groovalicious!
MoCA on the Move at Met Park

Celebrate the spring season with MoCA on the Move at Metropolitan Park. This special spring family series is hosted on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring live music, light snacks, and hands-on art-making activities for the whole family. Catch exciting vendors such as Red Bean Harvest, who’s offering coffee pour-overs and treats, and Otterly Artistic Events with face painting and temporary tattoos. The festivities will be held on the “central green” at the park, and no tickets are required. This Sunday, families can enjoy watercolor prints of native plants with music from Sean Tracy. Stay tuned for June’s offering, with exciting activities like DIY stamps and prints, postcard prints, and personalized bandanas.

Whether you yourself are neurodivergent or you have a family member who could benefit from a more sensory-inclusive atmosphere, snag your tickets for this one-of-a-kind experience. Upon arrival and while supplies last, guests will receive a sensory bag. At your own pace, explore the museum and engage with hands-on objects that are designed to showcase the life of George Washington. Discovery stations will feature “spinning” in May’s program, and the Fort Orientation Center will be showing the Revolutionary War Film with closed captions, lowered volume, and no 4D elements.
